Darlene Menzies is the founder of two successful Software Development Companies – The Development House (TDH) and SMEasy Business Software (Pty) and is known for recognising gaps in the market and developing software solutions to address them.
Darlene Menzies is a serial entrepreneur. She is the current KZN ICT Person of the Year and was the National Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010. Darlene is a Board Member of the Durban Chamber of Commerce. She is an innovator; she is passionate, pragmatic and very persistent. Her colleagues describe her as a Compassionate Capitalist. She believes that to live an extraordinary life you must resist an ordinary approach.
Darlene is testimony to the fact that you don’t achieve worth-while success without at one time or other finding yourself with at least one foot hanging well over the brink of failure. A story that will encourage business owners who are in a place of pressure, difficulty or indifference. A frank, inspirational talk to encourage us to be true to ourselves, to do something we love, to live larger, to risk bigger and to realise our dreams.
