We believe that it is important to nurture an entrepreneurial spirit within an organisation and to empower the business to operate as if each individual works for themself.


Here are some tips we believe differentiate good entrepreneurs from great ones:

Have stamina and work hard
Be relentless in pursuing business. Ensure that you have the stamina to spend as much time as possible pursuing your dreams. You will reap the rewards of your hard work by persistently sowing time, energy and effort into your passion.

Be an expert in what you do
Invest time in yourself, learning as much as you possibly can about your field. Stay abreast of market changes and continually challenge yourself by getting out of your comfort zone.

Be driven
Set targets for yourself, your business and your staff. Your business will do well if you are driven to achieve results. Make sure your targets are realistic. Working without a goal will waste valuable time.

Do things differently
Ask yourself what you can do differently so that customers will do business with you. Take bold steps to distinguish yourself from your competition but be careful not to over-promise and under-deliver.

Read, listen and learn
Make sure that you have a culture where you never think that you know enough. Be open to learning and hungry for knowledge.

Have a positive attitude
Stay positive and have a great mindset, by continually remaining positive you are boosting your confidence and will encourage potential clients to trust you.

Time is money
Know what your time is worth and spend it wisely. Certain hours are high income generating hours; maximise them.

Manage poor performers
If you do not manage people who perform poorly, you may lose face with the rest of your staff. Keep the best employees and surround yourself with strong players.

Deal with people effectively
Think of a leader who made an impact on you and influence you in a positive way.  Emulate their positive traits to deal with people efficiently.

Learn the art of duplication
Always ensure that you duplicate your team members. This will ensure that your service levels remain constant even if a vital member of staff leaves.

Surround yourself with winners
By surrounding yourself with winners you automatically raise your profile and raise the bar for your own performance.
